Something is wrong with this picture.

I got up this morning and there was something terribly wrong outside. It was snowing and so far it is 3 in the afternoon and it is still doing it. They keep calling this flurries but it looks more like a storm to me.
We had to go out in it and at a time when normally our access road would have been plowed already they still had not even done the highway.

I do not think we will try to grill tonight. There is now about 6 inches piled up on the deck and they are saying 4-7 inches but it is not supposed to stop until tomorrow morning.

There is just some thing so wrong about this and of course my Lilacs were budding so they will be frozen and I will not get any blooms again this year. As if the snow were not bad enough.

A couple more of the big lentil necklaces. I have been planning to make these for some time and finally got around to getting all three of them done in just a few days. If you can not tell I am trying hard to make jewelry for my summer shows.

This necklace was really harder to photograph than I expected. The shiny surface of the bead just did not want to show up. I am having fun getting new pieces ready for the upcoming show season. The necklace came out really earthy and lovely I think, I was a little afraid the beads surface would not stand out with all the seed beads but I think it does rather nicely.

My friend Jodie said in an email to me that my blog needed a new picture for heavens sake. So while you all have probably seen these by now here are some iris beads that I had to take a picture of for a customer.

Hi! I got back from Illinois on Monday and am headed back out on Friday and have had so much to do that I have not done much new.

But this Saturday I will be in Omaha at Westside Community Center and would love it if you are close for you to stop in and see all that I have been doing in the last few months. The Omaha Bead Bazaar is Saturday only and has become quite an event so stop by and see all the lovely beads.
