Some Pictures

Some pictures from the show in Aberdeen last weekend. This is what the booth looked like without any people in it Saturday morning before the doors opened. All those lights are really necessary when they turn the ceiling lights off for atmosphere.
I have a little display of my kits right up front where people can see them.
And the new Modern Art faces back near where I stand so I can talk about them. They were a pretty good hit this weekend.
And lots of copper pieces which is always good to have.

Well tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.

Just a little hint.....

.....of what I have been doing the past couple of weeks. At every show I have been to this fall it seems that I have been asked if I had beads like some in a few of my jewelry pieces. Well I finally got around to making a nice pile of them to sell. Oh how I want to make some jewelry with them though. That is why I have not had any I keep taking them to make jewelry with. I just love the soft glow of the etched glass.

We are headed out in just a little bit for Aberdeen SD to do a show there called Winterfest. It is held in the rec center down town if anyone wants to come out and see what else is new for the Holiday's. We will be there both Saturday and Sunday.

Something New

A few weeks ago I got myself a new site with Art Fire and with all the things going on I have not done much more to get the word out there than place a link on the right side of this page. Thank goodness there are great people who help me out with this. This is the first collection I have been in on this site so click on the link and check it out.

Some new beads at long last.

Well the work corner in the living room is all clean and neat has not been like that in a year and the kitchen table is still cleaned off. My hubby thinks aliens have invaded my body. I have also been trying to work out a new kit. I have it in my mind but the beads took a bit to get to come out. Here's the first set though.
These are big chunky beads and have a great feel in my hand. Now to just get the sample made up.

Just a drive by.

To show you some of the beads I got while we were at the Twin Cities Bead Show. I had no real exact plan for any of these but I am sure they will find lots of uses in my jewelry for next summer.
The show in Mitchell last Saturday was my last one for the month and for a couple of weeks actually so I get to concentrate on making beads for the next couple of weeks.
I do think I am going to be sorry I did not get more of these copper and brass beads. My mind has been swimming around with some ideas to use them.
